This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders and service bookings made through the Raksham website and mobile applications (Android & iOS) (“Platform”).
Raksham is owned and operated by Yellow Tree (“Organization”).
By placing an order or booking a service, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Order Processing (Products)
- Orders are processed only after successful payment confirmation.
- Standard processing time is 1–2 business days.
- Processing excludes weekends and public holidays.
- Orders requiring additional verification may take longer.
- Order confirmation is sent once the order is placed.
2. Service Processing (Vet / Paravet / Diagnostics / Ambulance)
- Service requests are processed based on professional availability.
- Appointment confirmations are shared via SMS, email, or app notification.
- Service providers may contact users for clarification before dispatch.
3. Shipping Locations
- Product delivery is currently available within India only.
- Serviceability depends on PIN code.
- Non-serviceable orders will be cancelled and refunded.
4. Delivery Timelines (Products)
- Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days from dispatch.
- Timelines vary by location, courier, and inventory.
- Delays may occur due to weather, peak seasons, or operations.
- App users may receive real-time delivery notifications.
5. Service Timelines (Vet / Home Visits / Diagnostics)
- Service timelines depend on availability and booking slots.
- Ambulance response depends on distance and capacity.
- Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or emergency rescues.
6. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are displayed clearly at checkout.
- Free shipping may apply for selected products or offers.
- Additional charges may apply for remote locations.
7. Delivery Process
Orders are delivered to the address provided during checkout. Users must ensure accurate address details, valid PIN code, and reachable contact number.
Raksham is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect details or customer unavailability. Re-delivery charges may apply.
8. Failed or Missed Deliveries
- Customer not available
- Incorrect contact or address
- Refusal to accept package
- Temporary non-serviceable area
Actions may include re-attempt, return to warehouse, or order cancellation with applicable deductions.
9. Damaged or Missing Items
- Report issues within 48 hours of delivery.
- Images or videos may be required for verification.
- Appropriate action (replacement/refund) will be taken.
10. Order Tracking
- Tracking details shared after dispatch.
- Tracking available via SMS, email, or app.
- Order status visible in the “Orders” section.
11. Rescue Feature Clarification
The rescue module does not involve shipping or delivery. Location data may be used to inform rescuers and share case updates. No physical delivery is associated with rescue alerts.
12. Delays Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
- Weather or natural disasters
- Festivals or peak seasons
- Traffic or regional restrictions
- Courier operational issues
- Technical or server downtime
- Emergency rescue involvement
Raksham will try to keep users informed but cannot guarantee fixed timelines.
