Welcome to Raksham, a unified platform offering pet e-commerce, veterinary services, and animal rescue assistance through our website and mobile applications (Android & iOS) (“Platform”).

Raksham is owned and operated by Yellow Tree (“Organization”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you (“User”, “You”) agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please stop using the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including customers, pet parents, rescuers, volunteers, NGOs, and general visitors.

1. Definitions

• “Raksham”, “we”, “our”, “us” – Raksham platform owned by Yellow Tree.
• “User”, “you” – Any person using the Raksham platform.
• “Products” – All goods, services, veterinary offerings, and digital items listed on Raksham.
• “App” – Raksham mobile applications (Android & iOS).
• “Rescuers / Volunteers” – Individuals or organizations responding to rescue alerts.

2. Eligibility to Use

• You must be 18 years or older, or use the Platform under parental supervision.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration or checkout.
• We may deny access to users who violate eligibility requirements.

3. User Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials.
• All activity through your account is assumed authorized by you.
• Raksham is not liable for losses due to unauthorized access.
• Accounts may be suspended or terminated for false information, fraud, misuse, or policy violations.

4. Product Information & Pricing

• We aim to display accurate product information and pricing.
• Errors may occur and can be corrected without prior notice.
• Prices may change due to stock or market conditions.
• Product packaging may differ from images shown.

5. Orders & Payments

• Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
• Raksham may accept or reject any order.
• Orders are processed only after successful payment.
• Orders with failed or suspicious payments will not be processed.

6. Shipping, Delivery, Returns & Refunds

All logistics, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Raksham’s Shipping Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. By placing an order, you agree to these policies.

7. Purpose of the Rescue Feature

• Report animals in distress
• Notify nearby rescuers and volunteers
• Facilitate rescue coordination
• Connect with NGOs and welfare organizations

Raksham is NOT an emergency service and acts only as a facilitator.

8. Rescue-Related User Responsibilities

• Submit only genuine rescue alerts
• Provide accurate information
• Avoid misuse or harassment
• Respect privacy of rescuers and users

False rescue alerts may result in permanent account suspension.

9. Responsibilities of Rescuers & Volunteers

• Rescuers act independently and at their own risk
• Raksham does not certify or verify rescuers
• Must comply with animal welfare laws
• Raksham only facilitates communication

10. Use of Location Services

Location access may be used for delivery mapping, service availability, and rescue coordination. Disabling location may limit functionality.

11. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of uploaded content. By uploading content, you grant Raksham limited rights for support, verification, and rescue coordination.

12. Prohibited Activities

Illegal use, fake rescue alerts, fraud, harassment, hacking, or impersonation is strictly prohibited and may lead to termination or legal action.

13. Limitation of Liability

Raksham shall not be liable for rescue outcomes, courier delays, third-party failures, technical issues, or user-generated information.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Raksham (Yellow Tree) harmless from claims arising due to misuse, violation of Terms, or unlawful activity.

15. Third-Party Services

Raksham is not responsible for external platforms or services linked through the Platform.

16. Termination of Access

Raksham may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, misuse, fraud, or legal requirements. Users may delete their accounts anytime.

17. Modifications to Terms & Platform

Raksham may update Terms or modify services at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
